Family-Friendly Southern Supper Picnic
The Parent-Friendly Covenant Group will prepare a supper including classic Southern side dishes and desserts -- like cornbread, collard greens, pecan pie, and more -- along with main dish(es) chosen to fit the dietary needs of the winning bidders (possibilities are nearly endless but include pulled pork, catfish, butter-bean soup, etc). Children are welcome, with parents responsible for them during this family event. Please bid for children unless they are 4 or younger. We'll be at a home or park in Lafayette (depending on weather and number of participants), with ample outdoor space and play equipment. We are happy to provide gluten-free or allergy-friendly options, but we don't have wheat-free, nut-free, etc. kitchens. Please ask Deborah if you have specific concerns. Come join the fun and feed your soul with us!
