Japanese Sukiyaki Dinner
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
A popular one-pot dish from post Meiji era Japan, our version of sukiyaki offers a little taste of the Far East without having to sit on the floor to enjoy it. You may find the use of chopsticks, although optional, makes this delightful treat a bit more adventuresome. Assorted vegetables and thinly sliced beef (usually artfully arranged on a platter) are cooked by each individual in a common pot of fish-based broth in the center of the table. 6 1 .00035E7 35 1/9/16 6:00 PM N N N

Top it off with fish or peanut sauce, and hot sauce for those who like it spicy! Co-hosted by Wendy Boortz and Deb McGuire. The Boortz' recreated this meal after moving to Columbus and not being able to find a restaurant here that serves it. Gluten free. 6 2 .0004E7 40 1/16/16 6:00 PM N N N
