MM18 Meals and More Pinsonneault / Alley Vino Rosso Superiore - Wine Tasting
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
This year Marc and Edgel will lead us on an exploration of Italian style wines from both the Old and the New Worlds. Many California wineries were founded by Italian immigrants who made wines in the Old World tradition. This is the opportunity to compare them side by side. We will taste six wines: three from northern Italy and three complementary wines from southern California’s Central Coast and/or Sonoma regions. The tasting will be accompanied by delicious appetizers and will be held at the Pinsonneaults’ home in Clintonville. As in previous years, the size of the winning bids will determine the quality of the wine that is served, so winners will most definitely get their money’s worth! 8 0 45 25 9/8/12 7:30 PM

Of course all good things take time. I will put you to work rolling out dough and assembling (I only have one pizza stone), and we'll argue over who gets the anchovies (YES), and we'll create something divine. It promises to be a rather long evening. Maybe we'll try tossing the dough if you promise not to get it on the ceiling. 8 0 35 25 11/10/12 7:00 PM

This basket includes a can of Equal Exchange fair trade hot cocoa mix and a witch-themed mug for your sipping enjoyment. Also included are four bars of Equal Exchange fair trade chocolate, a small cauldron for your potions, and a "Hagrid the Half Giant has a Posse" sticker.
