"Short Sand" organic cotton cardigan, painted natural coconut buttons
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Trunk Sale! Hand-knitted floor sample ~ discontinued yarn ~ bargain prices!

Pink cap sleeve cardigan, size Medium (12-14).
Sprout is a soft, cushy, chunky 100% organic yarn with a slightly nubby texture, spun from Tanguis cotton. This stout hardy cotton plant was developed in the early 1900’s. The plant’s ubiquitous presence and dependability have earned it the title “white gold” from the farmers who plant and harvest it. Sadly, this beautiful yarn is no longer available. Cost to make this sweater: $95.00 yarn, $12 buttons, hand-work ~ priceless.

10th Anniversary Clinton Hobbs UU Garden Tour and Supper
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Clinton Hobbs Garden Tour and Salads and More Supper
Join your fellow UU's in touring the following gardens:

Heidi Shaffer:
Our garden is a combination of Asian and Celtic features, stonescape and arches, perennials and herbs. A small portion is dedicated to food and compost production. It is always in transition and is never “done”. A small water garden is in the plans.

Hal Walker:
When Hal Walker moved into his home on S. Chestnut St in 1995, most of the backyard had been paved for use as a car turn-around. The last 24 years have been a gradual and organic process of removing concrete and creating beauty. 2019 was a turning point for Hal’s garden when he removed a large pine tree to provide more sun to the vegetable plants, the fruit bushes and trees and the flowers.

Randy and Renee Ruchotzke: The Ruchotzke garden uses permaculture principles to create a backyard food forest and front yard pollinator garden. See swales, hugelkulture mounds and companion planting.

Georgia Quinn:
Magic from Mud: transforming a steep clay building lot to a native plant bird and butterfly haven. (I am surprised at the transformation every time I come across the “before” photos. Amazing!)This is a fixed-price item.
