| About 25 years ago, I went to one of Rebekah Benner's solstice ceremonies for UA's women's studies faculty, staff and students. I got this wonderful rattle there. The rattle is topped with feathers, trimmed with fur, and has a wooden handle and suede fringe with bells. Over the decades, it has amused my cats, greeted at least 25 springs, moved with me all over Northeast Ohio and generally spread good spirits wherever it went. The body is about 12 inches and the suede fringe about 12 inches.
