| Back in the 1960s and early 1970s, Eddie's Stag Bar rocked down on Franklin Street. Eddie and Mary Petrella ran the bar and offered everything a KSU student wanted -- live music, booze and a smokey environment. Every vestige of Eddie's is gone now. An apartment building is going up on its site. But Mary Petrella’s jacket remains! I got this at Mary’s estate sale in Ravenna decades ago. It’s a Navy blue nylon windbreaker -- Duckster sportswear/Camden, Conn. It’s a men’s small; it's got a light weight lining. On the back in all caps, gold lettering: Eddie’s Stag Bar. On the front. lower right is a patch that reads Mary Petrella in cursive. Blue and Gold, KSU colors. Own a part of Kent's history and help the church -- another part of Kent history.
