| Ohiopyle Waterfall Hike | Ohiopyle State Park is arguably one of Pennsylvania's most beautiful parks, and this is especially true in spring when the mountain laurels are in bloom. Today's 5.5-mile loop hike is Gretchen and Elizabeth's all-time favorite! You'll see many gorgeous waterfalls that are hidden from the casual Ohiopyle visitor. Most of the trail is moderate in difficulty, but be prepared for a few short and steep climbs and descents, especially near the waterfalls themselves. The elevation change is 685 feet. Hikers should be in good physical shape, and able to navigate over rocks, roots, and small creek crossings. The hike itself takes up to 3 hours. Enjoy a fabulous picnic lunch prepared by G & E after the hike. We will begin at the trailhead at 10am. Ohiopyle is 1.5-hour one-way drive from the church.
