C25 Signed/matted/framed Monotype Print by Indiana Artist William B. Lawson - Urban
Invalid Image Link

This print of an urban neighborhood scene is by well-known Indiana artist William Lawson.

The print measures approximately 4 1/2” wide x 3 1/4“ tall. The frame is approximately 12 3/4” tall x 14" wide.

I had it framed in wood with a taupe mat and it can be a companion piece to item C24 by the same artist (with matching mat and frame)!

According to Indy Arts Guide: "William Lawson was one of the youngest artists to win top honor in the Hoosier Salon and Indiana Heritage Arts with his paintings. As a young artist, he closely studied the works of the Hoosier Group and earned several awards in Indiana’s juried exhibitions.

He is known for his urban scenes of Indianapolis as well as remote landscapes."

K8 Two Book Set for Little Naturalists

Two new (never used) board books, beautifully illustrated, spotlighting amazing sequences in nature: the metamorphosis of Monarch butterflies and the transformation of frogs from eggs to adult frogs. BUTTERFLY AND FROG features both processes with colorful graphics of the creatures by Vivian Young. The story is illustrated in half of the book. When you turn the book over to the back, the butterfly story begins. The centerpiece illustrates a pond with both frogs and butterflies. CATERPILLAR TO BUTTERFLY by Melissa Stewart uses actual photographs of every stage in this metamorphic process. Both books use lovely, realistic colors to illustrate their "stories".
