| Get away from it all for a weekend in June at the Haynes' summer house on Lake Michigan (located north of Muskegon MI, 210 miles from Chicago). No TV, no cell phone reception, internet may be slow... but you'll watch sunset over Lake Michigan and go to sleep to the sound of the waves. Swim, walk miles along the beach, build a sand castle, curl up in a corner with a book, explore the local small towns, experience 10,000 years of human history at the nearby Michigan's Heritage Park. There are numerous puzzles and board games to choose from. Accommodations are a first floor bedroom with double bed and attached bathroom, second floor bedroom with queen sized bed and third floor dormitory style sleeping "loft" with twin beds and double beds. Second and third floor sleepers share the second floor bathroom. Bring the family, invite some friends. Meals (Friday evening supper through Sunday lunch) for up to 6 people are included (but byob and soft drinks) and will be prepared by your on-site hosts. Your hosts will consult with the winner regarding dietary restrictions/preferences as they plan the menu for the weekend. Our condo is in the Reflections in the Catalinas complex, which has lovely desert landscaping and mountain views. It’s ideally located near shopping, restaurants, golf and tennis, and is within 15 minutes’ drive to a half-dozen hiking trailheads. A large heated pool and hot tub, along with workout room and outdoor grills are available for your use as part of the complex’s amenities. The condo has a fully equipped, updated kitchen and an in-unit laundry room. Master bedroom has a queen bed, private bathroom and direct access to the private courtyard. Second bedroom has twin beds and a full bathroom across the hall. In this annual auction event, Gregory will play a private recital in the sanctuary at UCE. Wine and hors d'oeuvres at 6:30, recital at 7:00. We keep it small, just ten guests,so it's a comfortable, uncrowded, intimate evening. At the intermission we freshen our drinks, fill our plates and pause for an “Ask Gregory” Q&A. It's always a celebration of beautiful music in the context of our beloved community.
