This traditional cream cheese bundt cake was created by my good friend, Jill Gordon. She had the honor to serve it to former president Jimmy Carter in 2005 while he was visiting the Kenai Backcountry Lodge on the shores of Skilak Lake in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of ANILCA. He commented that this cake "is delicious!"  Jill made this cake for my son's first birthday and it has become a family favorite.  It's a sturdy, yet moist cake that can serve a crowd.
