Arm Chair Travel to Zambia, Africa
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Join Ann-Scott and Bill Ettinger on a visual and emotional journey to Chimfunshi, Chimpanzee Orphanage and Sanctuary to be mesmerized by the chimps and the incredible birdlife. Witness the struggles and survival of our friends, many people of Zambia, and learn about the lives of those in the rural areas we visit versus those living in the cities. Enjoy the spectacular Victoria Falls, one of the 7 Wonders of the World, and Chobe National Wildlife Park in Botswana, where there are so many elephants they have to "cull" them because of overcrowding. We'll talk about wildlife conservation, sustainability, Zambian culture, chimp behaviors as compared to human, biodiversity in wild areas versus developed areas, and so, so much more! We'll share photos from 8 trips to Zambia by Bill and 3 by Ann-Scott. We will try to keep it to 2 hours, but are happy to stay longer for those who wish us to!
