Your Own Custom Focaccia Bread
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Your own custom made Focaccia bread. Endless possibilities here.

Vegetarian, vegan, carnivore lovers, or even "do you really want that in it or on it?" bread.

Your choice of dough. Whole wheat, white, multi-grain, Italian style meat bread, gluten free, hey I'll even grind up some tree bark for the extremist minimalists.

Your choice of toppings. Meat, fish, vegetables, herbs, cheese, even a dessert fruit bread. If it's sold in the supermarkets or produce markets, or my dog or I can catch it, it can be on or in your bread.

Do you want a name spelled out with the toppings, maybe some caveman art? I can even do 17th level secret Masonic symbols.

This is a huge, manly sized bread (10x15), not those wimpy little things you see in the supermarkets.

These breads can be fully cooked and ready to eat, or slightly under baked on a large stone and delivered to you ready to finish up in a few minutes.

Winning bids include any custom bread using "normal" ingredients. Requests for exotic ingredients or stuff on the endangered species list will carry a surcharge for any additional costs including the smuggling in of said ingredients.

Wine and Divination
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Since the Dawn of Consciousness, Humankind has sought to catch a glimpse into the future. We have devised many methods to achieve this, with many failures but sometimes with coincidental successes, accidental successes, and legitimate bona fide "I have seen the future!" successes.

Please join us in a glass of wine or two to aid our foray into the unknown, murky future via "scrying," a method of divination through a fire/water/crystal meditation.

Bring a recording device or pen and paper. I will supply the rest.

This is a goal setting meditation. Come prepared!

Dinner in the Holy Land
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
A crossroads of the religious world, Jerusalem is an intricate, convoluted mosaic of innumerable cultures and subcultures. Chefs Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi were born in Jerusalem in the same year -- Ottolenghi in the Jewish west and Tamimi in the Arab east -- and in their collaborative cookbook, JERUSALEM, they explore the vibrant cuisine of their home city with its diverse Muslim, Jewish, and Christian communities. Our vegetarian-friendly dinner menu will draw on their recipes and could include fattoush (tomato and bread salad); latkes; stuffed eggplant with lamb and pine nuts; roasted cauliflower salad with celery, hazelnuts and pomegranate; chicken with cardamom and caramelized onions; broiled sweet potatoes with prunes and figs; and helbeh (fenugreek cake). And if we can find authentic arak (anise liquor), that too! 14 75 3 000025.0 25 .00025E7 25 9/12/15 6:00 PM

Ever want to paint a picture on a large canvas? Let the Paint the Town instructors show you how to create your own masterpiece.
On February 10th, the studio in Huntington is ours for a special UU night. Let's fill it up with friends as we paint and raise money for UUFH. The night will be full of simple step-by-step painting instructions, great favorite music, some wine and many laughs.

No experience in necessary. In fact, if you have artistic talent, we will force you to paint with your non-dominant hand and your eyes closed. Votes for which picture we will paint will be taken at service auction night. Check out paintthetownstudio.com for examples of the masterpieces that await you.

Sail the historic Oyster Sloop Christeen
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Back by popular demand! Join us for a sunset cruise aboard the historic Oyster Sloop Christeen. Christeen is the oldest 40-ft gaff rigged oyster sloop in North America, built in 1883. She is beautifully restored and sails out of The WaterFront Center in Oyster Bay. The boat sails with a Captain and two crew who do all the work while your hosts Jean Marra, Lisa Moskowitz, Diana Weaving and Kim Schultze serve you wine, soda, beer and snacks (cheese, crackers, humus, veggies and fruit). The sail will last for 2 hours and cover the open space and beautiful scenery of Oyster Bay. Food and alcohol are allowed on board so you are welcome to bring other food and beverages as you desire if you want other fare than what is provided. A fun time is guaranteed for all!

Note: It is up to the captain's discretion to cancel or not due to inclement weather. Light rain usually will not cancel the sail. Sideways rain, heavy wind or thunder/lightning will postpone the event.

Wax Seal
Invalid Image LinkSold
Invalid Image Link
A wax seal adds a touch of class and wow factor to your holiday cards, wedding invitations, or any other mail - it's a good excuse to send more letters! Close your mail like Ned Stark or King Arthur.

Designs available include winter holiday themed symbols, such as candy canes, a snowflake, or Christmas Tree, and most major spiritual symbols from a cross to Om, Awen, Wiccan star, Star of David, or the Chalice. (pick one)

Includes 4 sticks of premium sealing wax (your choice of color) that has survived the mail from here to New Zealand.

This year's special item is peppermint scented wax to go with a candy cane seal (or any other). Normally red smells like cinnamon.

All seals are made using metal 3D printing, which builds the seal from a stainless steel powder. The model is then infused with bronze to set it.

For more information and photos of sample pieces, visit www.lightbringerdesigns.com/seals

ADHD Consultation

ADHD isn't just kid-stuff! It appears in children and adults who are hyperactive and/or inattentive, but lesser known presentations are bright underachievers, people with motivation or organization problems, the class/office clown, people who act/speak before they think, people who are depressed or anxious and don't respond to common medications, people who over-abuse substances, etc., etc.... If you are or if you love someone who is one of the above, considering ADHD as the underlying problem might help. 2 Tickets to NY City Center "Encores!" Presentation
Invalid Image LinkSold
Invalid Image Link
This is for 2 tickets to the winner's choice of any one of the three NY City Center "Encores!" productions listed below. The theater is located at 131 West 55.

These specific performances are very special. They are private performances for the patrons of the NY City Center. Tickets to these performances are not available or for sale to the general public. You have no idea how much shameless begging and groveling I had to do in order to wiggle these tickets out of City Center.

Think of it. You might be sitting next to someone who's Bentley is waiting outside. Before the lights dim and the curtain goes up they're sitting there fretting. Their team of accountants just told them about needing to find a worthwhile place to donate that irksome 500K or they're gonna' get hammered in taxes. Then they turn to you and ask about your cool tee shirt......

You do have a UUFH tee shirt right? If not no worries, I'll make up a couple for you to wear that night, and a couple extra for the nice folks with the Bentley.

The dates and curtain times are approximate, I'll update the info as soon as I get it. The choices are:

Gershwin's "Lady be Good" Feb 3, 2015 7pm

"Paint your Wagon" March 17, 2015 7pm

"Zorba" May 5, 2015 7pm

Link for more info: http://www.nycitycenter.org/Home

The NY City Center kindly donated these tickets, and, well maybe I embellished a little.

I didn't have to shamelessly beg or grovel for the tickets, although in my defense I certainly would have.

Bad Advice - 5 Minute Consultation
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
I'm offering guidance with guaranteed failure on an unlimited number of subjects. Even if neither of us can pronounce it, I've got advice.

How can I make such a seemingly incredulous offer?

Easy, there's an unlimited supply of topics that I know absolutely nothing about.

Furthermore for those things where I do have some knowledge I have carefully crafted strategies based on a combination of convoluted logic, dismissal of empirical fact, and, as always, unencumbered by basis in this or in any of the other possibly infinite realities.

Free detailed information sheets and past client comments are available at the auction.
